What We Are Building
The Defiant Board Society has built an electric longboard that is specifically tailored to what the e-skate community actually wants out of a street board. With the specs listed below, you can be confident that you are getting the highest fastest and longest range e-board on the market.
We have included a 12S5P Molicel p42a pack that is segmented into p-group pairs and comes with a smart BMS, Stormcore 60D, Davega for telemetry, Hoyt Puck remote, customized (raw metal finish and laser engraved) Maytech 6396 190KV motors with ventilation screens, Boardnamics designed 280mm hangars on adjustable baseplates with 36, 43, and 50 degree positions, hardened steel gear drives in a 2.22 ratio (60/27), also designed by Boardnamics, riptide bushings and cups (durometer is still TBD), custom designed modular seven section segmented single stack enclosure, molded thermoset urethane, custom designed 46" 9ply maple deck with a 1" drop, ~32" stance width, 10 3/4" deck width, slight camber, subtle w-cave, and a lovely amount of flex, Zealous built-in bearings, Boa Constrictor 100mm wheels, 6 amp charger for approximately 3.5 hr charge time.
It will be compatible up to 10 amps though, so feel free to bring your own. laser cut grip, most likely MOB, top side graphics TBD, loaded top speed around 38-39mph, actual range of 38+ miles with a 160 pound rider doing 20+ mph the entire time and 34 pound carry weight. So get ready to go on a ride that you won't forget!

Know The Background
Defiant Board Society is proud to announce our collaboration with @longhairedboy, one of the most respected electric skateboard builders in the industry. We began working with him back in August of '21 and have been consistently impressed with his dedication and work ethic. He has spent countless hours building and testing the prototype board to make sure it performs to our exacting standards and more importantly, the standards of the community.

What is the company's mission? Curating a Community of Like Minded E-Skate Enthusiasts
At Defiant Board Society, we strive to provide the best and most innovative electric skateboards on the market. We are constantly developing new ways to make our boards even better, with a focus on safety, performance, and overall user experience. To that end, we have come up with a few ideas for potential mods and upgrades that we hope to incorporate in the future.
First and foremost, we plan to make as many of our custom parts available for purchase by the DIY community. This includes decks and enclosures, so that experienced riders can customize their own board.
We also plan to offer an abec compatible wheel gear assembly, allowing for a direct replacement for the kegel core one currently used on our boards. This will offer more precise and consistent control over the acceleration and braking of the board.
For those looking for a more street-oriented setup, we are exploring the possibility of offering 150-200mm pneumatics and hubs that come with matching drive components. These tires should offer a good combination of grip and stability while also providing a little bit of stretch for added comfort. We are also looking into creating a double stack enclosure to go along with these tires.
Finally, we are considering alternate remotes with telemetry capabilities that would work better than our current puck/davega combo. This would ensure that riders don’t have to worry about signal interference while still having all the information they need at their fingertips. We are also in the early stages of talks with freesk8 to create a social ride/telemetry system to accompany our boards.
